The impact we have as humans on the world has never been greater. We have placed ourselves outside the systems in which we live and on which we depend. Given the destructive nature of our current relationship with nature, change is urgently needed.

We find it essential to investigate how we have reached the point where we are now. We are convinced that change is necessary. Therefore, it is necessary to first question our current relationship with nature. Why have we placed ourselves outside the systems? What are the key factors influencing this relationship? And how are we going to achieve change? All essential questions to understand where we are now and where we need to go.

As you may have noticed: we have gradually lost sight of the role of nature. With Nature behind the Wheel, we aim to bring about this change.

During the program, young people and decision-makers from the business world will explore how we can “listen” to nature when making choices, a skill more needed than ever.
