Is there a relationship between the sustainability challenges of our time and our relationship with nature, as individuals and organisations?

‘Nature behind the Wheel’ invites decision-makers from organisations, businesses, and institutions to participate in ‘Nature behind the Wheel’ and reflect together with participants on their own – individual – relationship to nature and the consequences thereof in the daily operations of your organisation.

Practical information at a glance:

The conversation:

  • We ask you to spend half a day in conversation with a group (4-5) of programme participants and take a walk through (urban) nature together.
  • Participants will discuss with you your own relationship with nature and how it affects your work.
  • Before the walk, you will have taken a short test to determine your personal worldview regarding nature. This test has also been taken by the participants and provides a common language.
  • Participants receive a short training in preparation for the conversation and have researched your organisation.

Summary of conversation:

  • A brief summary of the conversation will be made, anonymous if you wish, this summary will be shared with you.
  • Ideally, we publish the insights from these conversations online.

Scheduling: you can sign up for one of the 4 editions, but participation as a decision-maker is limited to once only. A conversation will take a maximum of half a day, and the weeks in which the conversations take place are:
